The C-5 Road, officially known as Carlos P. Garcia Avenue, is the Alternate road in the Eastern part of Metro Manila, Philippines to avoid heavy traffic in EDSA for motorists going to Makati City from Quezon City

As of July 23, 2007, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo said in her State of the Nation Address: The C-5 Road Extension in the North of Metro Manila will be from Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City to North Luzon Expressway in Valenzuela City and the South Extension will be from South Luzon Expressway in Parañaque City to Coastal Road in Las Piñas City in the southern part of Ninoy Aquino International Airport. This Project has been started last April 2008 until August 2009. The Project is under Department of Public Works and Highways.
