St. Edmond's Academy is a Catholic secondary school founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in Wilmington, Delaware, USA in 1959. St. Edmond's is completing a $12 Million expansion. Starting in September 2006, St. Edmond's will be K-8. The school's patron saint is Blessed Brother Andre Bessette C.S.C. The current enrollment is approximately 260,but after the expansion it will be around 400. St. Edmond's is famous for good athletics. The motto of Saint Edmond's Academy: Caritas per Disciplinum, which means "love through knowledge."
