Shakeel Ahmad (born 2 January 1956) is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Madhubani constituency of Bihar and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party.

Early life

Shakeel Ahmad was born to Shakoor Ahmad in Bishanpur, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. He is an M.B.B.S. Doctor from S.K. Medical College, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Political career

Shakeel Ahmad was first elected as MLA in 1985 and then in 1990 and in 2000. He was elected for Lok Sabha in 1998 and again in 2004. He is also a national spokeperson of the Indian National Congress Party.

He was Minister of State in the Ministry of Communication & IT and Ministry of Home Affairs (India) in the 14h Lok Sabha.

Personal life

Shakeel Ahmad is married to Sabana Ahmad and they have three sons, Shadab, Shehryaar and Shaz.
