Swiftcover (aka Swiftcover.com) is an internet based insurance company in the UK, with its head quarters based in Send, Surrey. Swiftcover branded strap line is “click click not cluck cluck”.

This insurance provider has no call centres and sells all policies over the internet. The company focuses on low risk customers for all its insurance products.

Swiftcover was started in 2004 by Andrew Blowers, former Executive Director of Churchill Insurance, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc.

Swiftcover is particularly well known in the UK for its distinctive advertising, incorporating chickens working in call centres across its advertising.

Swiftcover was acquired by AXA in December 2006.

It currently has a helpdesk office on Teesside and it's headquarters in Send, Surrey.
