London Buses route 267 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, United Kingdom. The service is currently contracted to Transdev London.

History

Route 267 entered service on 9 May 1962 as part of trolleybus replacement program for trolleybus route 667, between Hammersmith "The Grove" and Hampton Court.

It was withdrawn between Fulwell and Hampton Court and replaced by new route R68 in 1991.

Extended to Hampton Church on School journeys and to Hampton Court Palace (Summer Sundays) on 9 May 1992. The school service was dropped in 1998.

The route now runs from Hammersmith "Station Grove" to Fulwell Bus Garage (daily) and to Hampton Court Palace (on summer Sundays).

It will be extended to Hammersmith Bus Station. but this has been deferred until late in 2007.

Route 267 has been stationed at Fulwell garage mainly using MCW Metrobuses along with Alexander Royale-bodied Volvo Olympians, Northern Counties Palatine-bodied Olympians and even single deck Darts. The route was converted to low floor operation between 2001 and 2002 using Alexander-bodied Tridents and later gaining Wright Eclipse Gemini-bodied Volvo B7TLs in early 2003. Between 2005 and 2006 the route gained Scania OmniDekkas however the Tridents still do regular runs today.

Some Scania OmniCitys were bought in March 2008 to help increase the daytime frequencies from 12 minutes to 10 minutes.
