The name 'Bundang Line' refers to the fact that the line was constructed for the commuters ofBundang ward inSeongnam . The line starts in southeasternSeoul , travels through northernSeongnam , and finally reaches the far southern end ofBundang . Originally opened in September 1994 between Suseo and Ori, it was extended from Suseo to Seolleung in September 2003, and from Ori to Bojeong in November 2004.On
November 26 ,2004 , a temporary terminal station called Bojeong was opened near the Bundang Line TrainDepot . Services now terminate alternately at Bojeong and Ori. More recently, onDecember 24 ,2007 ,Jukjeon Station was opened between Ori and Bojeong Stations.A 6.6 km extension from Seolleung to Wangsimni will open in 2010.
