Per-protocol analysis

Per-protocol analysis

In epidemiology, Per-protocol (PP) analysis is in contrast to the Intention to treat analysis. It is a strategy of analysis in which only patients who complete the entire clinical trial or other procedure analyzed, not like the Intention to treat analysis which also includes the patients who dropped out.

Per-protocol analysis is also called "On treatment analysis".
