Bab Sharqi

Bab Sharqi ( _ar. باب شرقي) ("The Eastern Gate") is one of the seven ancient city-gates of Damascus, Syria. It was named according to its location in the east side of the city, it has three carved arcs. The Muslim leader Khalid ibn al-Walid entered Damascus through this gate in the Rashidun Era.
